A full desktop control application developed for a 6-seater motion simulator using a hexapod-style 6DOF motion platform. The system brings together real-time motion control, video-synchronized playback, special effects triggering, and scenario-based show automation in a single operator-friendly PySide6 interface.
The application is designed to control the simulator directly over UDP without requiring a separate server. It converts Surge, Sway, Heave, Roll, Pitch, and Yaw values into actuator position packets using inverse kinematics, while also handling auxiliary effects such as air pressure, vibration, wind, rain, snow, lightning, smoke, fire, and fan speed.
